Parents and carers should be aware that at the time of writing (September 2026) a school reorganisation process is taking place that may ultimately effect some primary schools in Runcorn, and a public consultation is running between 30th June and 30th September 2026 to seek views on the proposals to either close, federate or merge, including the closure of Weston Point Primary Academy to enable its merger with Westfield Primary School.
