Physical Education

At Weston Point Primary Academy, we are committed to delivering a high-quality PE curriculum that supports all children in developing the physical skills, confidence, and knowledge needed for an active and healthy lifestyle. We follow the PE Planning scheme to ensure a well-structured, progressive approach to physical education that aligns with the National Curriculum. Through engaging and inclusive lessons, we provide opportunities for all pupils to develop fundamental movement skills, teamwork, and resilience, while fostering a lifelong love for sport and physical activity.

In addition to our PE curriculum, we offer an extensive extra-curricular programme, providing every child with the chance to take part in sports clubs and competitions. From traditional team sports like football and netball to inclusive activities such as boccia and kurling, we ensure that all children have the opportunity to develop their skills, stay active, and experience the excitement of friendly competition. Through our commitment to high-quality PE and enrichment opportunities, we inspire our pupils to lead active, healthy and confident lives.
